Veteran Chicago soul singer RAJA-NEE returns to the soul music fray with a sweet, new groove, ‘Take My Breath’. The song discusses an infatuation that runs so deep that Raja literally loses her breath whenever this mystery guy appears! Wow! Sonically, the cut ticks all the right contemporary soul boxes and its impact come from the repetition of the title and, vocally, it’s obvious that Raja-Nee served her apprenticeship in the church.
