For the last year of so we’ve followed the career of UK singer/songwriter/keyboardist REUBEN JAMES. (above). We were particularly pleased with his single, ‘Closer’ and the haunting ballad ‘All I Wanna Do’ and we’re equally pleased to report that Mr J is releasing his debut album in June.
Whilst we wait, there’s a new single to enjoy – a complex neo-soul/jazzy shuffle, ‘Means The World’ on which Reuben channels his inner D’Angelo as he did on ‘Closer’ . The track also features tasty sax work from Braxton Cook.
The recommended ‘Means The World’ is released on Friday 7th April. The album ‘Champagne Kisses’ is due June 23rd. The label is Rufio Records.
