Listeners to some of the better soul stations will know that smooth soul man, MARC STAGGERS is back with us with a tasty new single. His brand spanking new ‘You Make Me Feel’ has been regularly rotated this week and good’ ole Gary Spence over @ Solar even made it “Record of the Week”.
Little wonder! We know that Gary is a man of impeccable taste and this new ‘You Make Me Feel’ has all the hallmarks of a smooth soul classic – gentle and mid-tempo with a catchy chorus, it, of course, has the flavour of dear old Luther at his peak (well it is a Marc Staggers record!)
‘You Make Me Feel’ was written by Marc’s brother, Reggie alongside Terri Bjerre of The Terri Green Project and Anthony Freeman. There are currently two mixes of the song – the original and a smooth jazz mix with sax work from Brian Cunningham. This lovely song is good to go now via Expansion!
