It was only a week or so back that we drew your attention to the single ‘In The Meantime’ from ex- James Brown trumpeter WILLIE BRADLEY. Featuring vocals from the Manhattans’ Gerald Alston, the smooth but soulful cut was taken from Bradley’s latest album, ‘Going With The Flow’. Produced by veteran Preston Glass, the long player is winning favour in both the smooth jazz and sophisticated soul communities.
The latest album focus track that Bradley is promoting is his unique take on Sly and the Family Stones’ ‘Running Away’. On this one the vocal features Club Nouveau while to keep it real, Sly’s original sax man, Jerry Martini lends a hand too.
