Back in 1975 Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes scored a hit with the lovely ‘You Know How To Make Me Feel So Good’. Teddy P was in his usual fine form, aided and abetted by the input of Sharon Paige.
In 2019 the Gamble-Huff song was covered by the “LEGENDARY” BLUENOTES (the band keeping the flag flying for the original group) with the actually legendary JEAN CARNE taking the Sharon Paige parts. Now Society Hill Records have re-released that version with a new arrangement that retains all the soulful magic of those two earlier incarnations with some sweet sax from Don (Juan) Ward. Out now.
