‘Worth Your While’ is the latest single from Barcelona-based duo FREEDUST. Interestingly neither of the pair are Spanish … composer Daniele Carmosino is Italian and singer Lisa Widmark is Swedish!
That doesn’t matter of course. What matters is the music and like their last album, ‘Take Me There’, ‘Worth Your While’ is a peculiar sound – an amalgam of many things… soul, hip hop, R&B and jazz. They call it a synthesis of “double bass and ‘vinylistic’ sounding drums” all underpinning Ms Widmark’s very particular vocal style.
