Modern soul fans are suckers for songs that offer a measure of nostalgia. Over the years, there’s been dozens of ‘em. The most recent being a track on Paulette McWilliam’s current album. Her song is ‘New Tunes, Old Grooves’ and it’s well worth checking out!
Which brings us to two seasoned Brits soul sisters HEATHER HAYWOOD and SUGAR RAINBOW. The girls have often worked together and recently decided to cut a duet… and they’ve just released their own lively take on soul nostalgia, ‘Think About’ .
Lyrically the song takes you back to another era – when you were out on the floor dancing the night away; sonically the cut is an “up” dancer with plenty of 80s Weekender flourishes and it’s out now!
