JERMAINE LOCKHART is a US jazz sax man who hails from Cleveland Ohio. He’s worked across genres but most notably has shared stages with people like Earl Klugh, The Crusaders, Stanley Turrentine, Roy Ayers, Jeff Lorber, Angela Bofill, Pieces of a Dream, Bob James and George Benson. Jermaine made some waves earlier this year with his first solo single – the jaunty, uplifting ‘Back To The Sunshine’.
Jermaine follows that one up with the equally jaunty ‘Perfect Timing’ – a cut that ticks all the right smooth jazz/sophisticated soul boxes…. mind you it should. It was executively produced by George Benson and was written by George’s son, Robbie!
Sonically, Jermaine’s sax mines a rockin’ soul vein aided and abetted by passionate vocals from his sister, Charity Lockhart. Out now.
