Don’t know anything at all about aspiring soul singer MARK LARENZ… his social media doesn’t give us many clues, save that he numbers amongst his heroes and influences people like Chaka Khan, Sarah Vaughan, Ramsey Lewis, Miles Davis, Vince Guaraldi, Isaac Hayes, Barry White, Roy Ayers, Teena Marie, Amy Winehouse. Quite a list!
At the moment young Mark is busy promoting his single – ‘Hindsight’, which after a slow start picks up into a dreamy ballad with a little of 70s Philly about it, though not quite as smooth and lush. The tune is winning some radio plays and is available from all the usual streaming services.
