Over the last few we’ve enjoyed some pleasing tunes from British born now Barbadian based Soul/R&B and Reggae artist WHITFIELD BATSON. His work is always unassuming but somehow catchy, marrying Caribbean flavours with a soul feel.

The release is part of the celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of Ruff Cut Records and we’re told that to mark the event the label will be issuing some old favourites alongside plenty of new stuff – like ‘Girl Like You’
