The legendary UK-based American soul singer P. P. Arnold – a former Ikette who is best remembered for her 1967 Top 20 UK hit ‘The First Cut Is The Deepest’ – has announced that she’ll be publishing her keenly awaited autobiography, Soul Survivor, in July via Nine Eight Books.

To tie in with the book’s publication, the legendary Los Angeles-born singer has agreed to take part in an event hosted in London by Tortoise Media on Tuesday 12th July; a discussion about her life and career in front of a studio audience which will take place from 18.30 to 19.30 pm GMT and be broadcast live online.

Tortoise Media has kindly offered soulandjazzandfunk 10 pairs of studio tickets for the event and 20 digital tickets. All ticket holders will also receive a free copy of P. P.’s book; the studio event includes a drinks reception.

To have a chance to win a ticket to this exclusive event, all you must do is send your name to info@soulandjazzandfunk.com by Wednesday 6th July. The 30 winners will be notified later that week. (Please note transport costs are not included for the live event).
