Soul man ERIC BOSS has enjoyed a busy and varied career. He’s a DJ, producer, singer-songwriter, one-half of world-touring soul duo Myron & E, founder of boogie outfit The Pendletons and part of electro-funk duo Lucid Paradise. He’s also collaborated on dozens of other projects.
Hard to believe with all that, but the Boss man also enjoys a solo career and he’s getting ready to unleash a new album…. ‘A Modern Love’, from which the lead single has just been released. It’s a tight, old school soul dancer, ‘Bad Luck’ which Eric describes as “a head-nodding funk-soul number led by crunchy drums and a badass bass line”. Yes, it’s a good ‘un and we’re loving the crazy trombone solo.
