THE SECRET NIGHT GANG (led by Kemani Anderson and Callum Connell) hail from Manchester and are working on their second album, ‘Belongs On A Place Called Earth’ – due June, via Brownswood Recordings.
The set’s lead single has just been released – it’s an odd but oddly catchy ‘Don’t Know What Tomorrow Brings’. It rides a tight and steady groove and it has a peculiar transcendent attraction all its own!
The song delivers a powerful message. The pair say: “Whilst we’re on planet earth, it is important to be thoughtful and to be kind to one another, and to not take the days we have with each other for granted – because they could be halted at any moment.” Obvious, yes, but spot on!
