Roy is a singer, songwriter, arranger/composer and music co-producer; he’s worked with and performed with people Frank Ocean, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Grace Jones, Donna Summer, Sting, The Pet Shop Boys, Neneh Cherry, Mica Paris, Suede, The Verve, Living Colour, Johnny Hallyday, Eros Ramazzotti and Cerrone . Out on his own, he debuted in 2014 with the album, ‘We Were Here I’m Just Like You’ and since then tracks like ‘Music Fills the Air’ have become club floor fillers!’
Mr Inc’s latest offering is a ‘Credit Me’ – a collaboration with North Street West Studio’s DARREN MORRIS. The cut is deceptively simple but it’s actually a heavy commentary on social and creative injustices in the music and arts arena, where the artist is often overlooked and under played, not acknowledged for their ideas, input, efforts or concepts of their work. Sonically, the cut is almost mantra-like that grows and grows with each play.
The EP delivers two vocal versions – explicit and clean, alongside the obligatory instrumental. Out now!
