Latest single from ever-dependable QUANTIZE RECORDS is a collaboration between SONIC SOUL ORCHESTRA (the alter ego of English DJ / producer, JP Firmin) and powerhouse vocalist KATHY BROWN. Between them they deliver a scintillating cover of Michael Watford’s 1990’s groove, ‘So Into You’. Interestingly, aside from DJ-ing and producing, Mr Sonic Soul/Firmin once worked as a booking agent and one of his clients was Mr Watford! Hence the link!
Musically, producer and singer inject fresh, gospel-tinged moods into the song to create something truly uplifting! The cut clocks in at over six minutes – and the energy never lets up.. phew! For the wimps, there’s a radio edit and, of course, the obligatory instrumental. No news yet of more mixes but knowing Quantize you can guess there’ll be more on the way!
