US sources are reporting the death today, August 3rd of Southern soul singer WENDELL BROWN, who worked as Wendell B. It seems that the singer died after a long struggle with cancer.
Born in St Louis, Wendell learned his craft in church eventually working with gospel group, The Sensational Wonders. In his late teens, despite family objections, he turned to secular music and debuted with the well-received album ‘Make It Good For Ya’. His most recent album was 2020’s ‘Real Talk’.
