Last month RANDY MULLER in his BOOM CHANG BANG guise charmed us with his late Summer groove, ‘Sunnyside Up’. That tune was actually one side of a double A sided single and now that it’s officially released we can reveal that the flip side is equally good. It’s another smooth jazz/soulful confection, ‘Welcome To My Life’.
This ‘Welcome’ is once again centred round Randy’s flute with his own vocal weaving through the flute fills. There’s hooks a plenty and some might detect a Deodato flavour to proceedings. It’s out now via Wave Hill Records
