Just a couple of weeks back, prolific UK soul and jazz guitar man DAVE MASCALL released what many pundits and tastemakers said was his best ever single – a quite lovely, soulful ‘We’ll Be Together’ which featured a tremendous vocal from soul stylist, HARRY CAMBRIDGE (who many will know from his Luther Vandross tribute shows).
Well, what was good has now got even better. You see Dave has drafted in the equally prolific GEORGIE B to remix the tune and dear old George has come up trumps! Here he ups the ante and the tempo with the danceable flourishes that have become his trademark. There’s added brass riffs and tasteful backing vocals from Georgie himself, adding to Harry’s soulful vocals while Dave’s tasty jazzy guitar is kept well up in the mix.
