Latest single release from the Minneapolis-based ST PAUL PETERSON (sometime Prince collaborator) is the funky blues that is ‘Something in the Water’. The song is a tough and greasy jam with more than a touch of the Purple one about it. The cut (co-Produced and co-written by St. Paul Peterson and long-time collaborator Oliver Leiber) is a celebration of the “Minneapolis sound”.
Peterson explains: “‘Something in the Water’ was inspired by a question often raised, “Why is Minneapolis so funky?” We’ve addressed this question in song form, explaining it must be “Something In the Water” … simple!” It’s out now!
