Canada’s BOOMTANG RECORDS continue their re-issue work on the back catalogue of British singer/songwriter VICTOR DAVIES with a new mix of his ‘Morning Sun’ – originally a track from his 2003 album ‘Hoxton Popstars’. In January, Boomtang released a gentle bossa nova mix of the song and now they offer a “Ju Ju Orchestra” remix – which keeps the bossa/samba vibe strong and allows the purity of Vic’s voice to shine though.
The B side is a “radio edit” of ‘Brother’ – a track that first appeared on Davies’ 2001 eponymous LP. We believe the releases are part of a campaign building up to new material from Victor later in the year. ]
