Haven’t got a clue about a band called PROJECT 20. My guess is that they’re a Euro pop/soul outfit… might even have been on Eurovison… who knows? Anyway, their tune ‘Je T’Aime Beaucoup’ is winning a few plays on the strength of it’s catchy, simple , repetitive, disco flavoured sound. The lyric is delivered by male/female vocalists in French and English – though the lyric is chiefly asking you to dance… so nothing deep and/or meaningful. Sonically the flavour is Chic-esque with a Herbie Hancock style vocoder thrown in for good measure. Out now!
