Last month Detroit’s KATHY KOSINS released a brand new version of one of the tracks on her ‘Uncovered Soul’ album – her reading of the Neville Brothers’ New Orleans classic ‘Voodoo’. Kathy and her team loved that song so much that they subtly re-wrote and re-recorded it as ‘Put The Voodoo On Me’.
Now they offer that new tune in a new, hard-not-to-move Opolopo remix. The Hungarian mix meister calls his tweak, ‘The Miami In Winter Mix’ and there is a chill about proceedings but Mr. O’s trademark loping bass line and shuffle beats will keep those feet moving and heads nodding… out very soon.
