Back in 2011 VIVIENNE McKONE enjoyed a modicum of success with the modern soul tune ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’.
Earlier this year the cut was picked up by DSG Records and with a new sax-led mix it scaled all the valid soul charts. Giving the song even longer legs, DSG are about to release a brand new mix courtesy of mix man of the moment Nigel Lowis – known for his subtle, Philly flavoured tweaks.
Here Nigel adds some Sigma styled strings and a Bobby Eli flavoured guitar to what was already a catchy tune and in doing so he does what all great mixers do – creates something fresh and quite new
