Great to welcome some new music from the Queen Of Contemporary European soul, TERRI GREEN! Yes we know that Terri hails from Washington DC, but for some years now, working on mainland Europe with people like Toddi Reed (real name Torsten Abrolat), she’s crafted a modern soul catalogue second to none!
Her brand new single – a big and sumptuous ‘Unexpected Love’ is a collaboration with Norwegian producer and music teacher, Tom Hansen. Mr H, it seems, recently played Ms G one of his new tunes and our girl loved the vibe and the melody so much that she just had to pen some lyrics; then it was a real no brainer to ger into the studio to get the song recorded. To add some extra special sparkle the duo brought in Italian music producer and keyboardist Maurizio Metalli to play on the track and the combination is simply contemporary soul perfection – big, brash, catchy, clever and so, so soulful. Out August 19th.
