One of last year’s most consistent soul albums was TONY LINDSAY’S ‘Soul Soldier’. It was the sometime Santana vocalist’s fourth solo LP and impressed with it’s variety and old school values.
One of the album’s big romantic moments was the smooth ‘True Love’ which has just been released in truncated form as Tony’s latest single. This “radio edit” takes a full two minutes off the album cut, giving the tune a little more focus and allowing us to hear the majesty of Tony’s splendid voice. Easy to hear why Carlos S rated him so highly.
