Dutch band TRISTAN are all set to release their brand new album…… ‘2nd Phase’. It’s the follow up to their acclaimed 2014 album, ‘Full Power’ and has been heralded by the single ‘Finally Found’.
– for which the band drafted in the Atlanta-soul man Heston to duet with their lead vocalist Evelyn Kallansee.
The tune – both in its original format and in a great ‘Sweet Soul Mix’ – was heavily rotated on the best soul stations and the new single – ‘Supersize My Sunshine’ is all set to repeat that. The cut is a busy slice of jazzy soul with a great vocal from Ms. Kallansee and some fab horn charts that combine the best of Tower Of Power and Earth Wind and Fire. It’s a breeze of a tune and just right for the optimism that the coming spring promises.
