JAGUAR SKILLS is a mysterious, “anonymous”, British DJ who’s been around since the early 2000s. Best known for his mix tapes, Trevor Nelson is a big fan, regularly featuring his work. We’re guessing therefore that Mr N will soon be featuring the Jag’s latest offering – a slinky, laid back summer vibe, ‘Loving Someone’. Amongst the tune’s attractions is the vocal courtesy of Omar.
Interestingly like plenty of great 60s soul and soul jazz outings, ‘Loving Someone’ comes in two parts. Part 1 focuses on the Omar vocal, while Part 2 extends the vibe with instrumental input from amongst others, Simon Katz and Kwame (from Jamiroquai). Out now!
