Young Brit soulstress TILLY (GRACE) enjoyed a late 2020 hit with her sweet Nigel Lowis mixed and produced ‘Life After Love’ – a lovely, poignant song whose maturity belied Tilly’s youthfulness!
Now the song is back in a new “Soul City” mix that lifts the tempo (just a little) while building in plenty of catchy hooks but retaining all the poignancy of the original (wait for the tear-jerking moment at about 3 minutes 20 seconds in!). I can give it no better praise than to say that it recalls the best of Brit outfits like Drizabone and Soulutions.
