Hot on the heels of his new bbe Neo-Soul compilation (see recent news item), soul spinner RONNIE HEREL releases his very own single … well not quite; his lovely, sweeping and soulful ‘Another Way’ is a collaboration with vocalist Dannis Winston whose svelte and honeyed tones perfectly complement the Herel song (Ron also produced and arranged it!).
‘Another Way’ is one of those wonderful dance tunes that come along every now and then – appealing to both the sophisticated soul crowd and the those more inclined to the “house” end of the soul spectrum. There are plenty of mixes on offer, including tweaks from DJ Spen in tandem with Reelsoul, an Afro Soul mix and an intriguing “Hump” mix. There are of course, the shorter, more concise radio edits too.
‘Another Way’ (incl. DJ Spen & Reelsoul Remixes) will be released on Traxsource promo August 28th / Full release September 11th 2020 on Quantize Recordings.
