Manchester’s’ RIOT JAZZ BAND offer music a lot like the famous Crescent City stompers and you can check out their latest offerings via all the usual internet music portals. They’re currently offering a 9 track mini-album called ‘Sousamaphone’. It’s released on Kudos Records and offers plenty of variety –as anyone who’s seen them this year at Big Chill, Bestival and Glastonbury will attest
The band are led by drummer STEVE PYCROFT and he’s out front on one of the album’s big title track.
