‘Sad Songs’ is the latest single from the wonderfully-named WINDY KARIGIANES. Of Greek, Italian and Portuguese heritage, she’s a popular soul and jazz singer in and around the bars, clubs and lounges of Las Vegas. She’s released several singles and one album, ‘Pacific Shore’ and the new track is a collaboration with the busy, versatile Randy Hall.
Between them, Randy and Windy have crafted a sultry, sensual groove that showcases Ms K’s soulful vibrato. Several commentators have made comparison here with the best of Teena Marie – they’re not far wrong!
