The latest single from QUANTIC’S recent album, ‘Magnetica’ (see our reviews archive), is one of that LP’s outstanding cuts…. the soulful, folksy, late 60s sounding ‘You Will Return’. The song is a collaboration between Quantic (Will Holland) and label mate, vocalist Alice Russell. The song’s an insinuating little thing and Alice is as usual on great from. ‘You Will Return’ is made up of unusual elements…. quirky beats, banjo and accordion amongst them, but somehow it all works and the whole thing is rather poignant.
