Back in 1976 Double Exposure set dance floors aflame with their surging ‘Ten Per Cent’ – still a classic Philly dance artefact!
Now, we’re not entirely sure of the provenance of this but “sometime in the early 2000s, THE TRAMMPS Recorded a Hi NRG cover version of the song” and it became an underground dance hit.
Now, it seems that the Essential Media Group have taken the vocal track from that recording and dubbed it over what they describe as “the original musical backing” with, they add “stunning results.”
It’s out now, so you can investigate for yourself – but note there are seven mixes and we’re not sure what the make up of the Trammps was on the recording. Confused? We are!
