12 month ago, Oz’s finest, the BAMBOOS released their tenth album, ‘Hard Up’. Since then, bandleader Lance Feguson has been busy on all kinds of projects (see our archive to find out exactly what!) Now though, he’s bringing the Bamboos right back out front with a new single that couples ‘Nothing I Wanna Know About’ with ‘Bad Line’.
The former is a tough, riff-laden, tight groove with the band’s old sparring partner, Kylie Auldist at the mic. As ever she delivers in style!
The putative B side is a lovely, melodic ‘Bad Line; which is built on a classic Motown chassis – classy, Northern beats, brass stabs, sweet horn solo, catchy changes and another top drawer vocal from Kylie A.
