In March, the MS1 PROJECT (essentially two brothers … MIKE HARRISON (aka DJ Blue) and session musician GEORGE HARRISON) released a single that most pundits felt was their best ever offering – the sensual ‘Passion’. It was a big tune with a soulful vocal from New York singer DANIEK ASHLEY. No wonder it hit #1 on all the credible soul charts.
The MS team now maintain the momentum with another excellent, sensual soul groove, ‘Thank U’. This time the vocals are from UK Artist ALEX JAMES and, like ‘Passion, the production’s spot on. It uses elements from the classic 1979 Soul/Boogie anthem ‘I Just Can’t Control Myself’ by Natures Devine. This one comes recommended and we believe it’s from an upcoming MS1 Project album, ‘Remedy 4 The Mind Part II’ due Summer.
