An odd pairing… maybe. You may have read that Imagination’s LEEE JOHN has teamed up with UK smooth jazz don, BILL SHARPE from Shakatak to record an album… ‘Intimate Glow’ which is set for a late February release. You may have heard one of the tracks already – a glossy ‘Take Me Back’ which is now set to emerge in a wonderful, smooth and soulful Boogie Back remix. Ernie McKone and his team deliver a quality contemporary Brit soul groove that highlights Leee’s still lovely and emotive falsetto and Bill’s crystalline keys. A match made in heaven? Sounds like it.
