The small but perfectly formed LRK RECORDS have been particularly prolific so far this year. We’ve recently enjoyed LRK music from Aphrose and Claire Davis (both Canadians, by the way) and now they’re set to release a new single from another Canadian artist, GARY BEALS.

It seems that Mr. B has made quite a name for himself in his native Canada. He was runner up in that country’s first season of Pop Idol (2003) and since then he’s released three albums of music inspired by his love for artists like Aretha, Otis Redding and Al Green. It seems he’s now preparing a fourth album, ‘The Melody Within’  and this new LRK track has been lifted from it. It’s an urgent throwback sound called ‘All Of Me’ and Gary’s performance  shows why he’s held in such esteem in his homeland. For it’s part, the art work (above) which echoes Marvin’s ‘After The Dance’, shows where our man’s coming from!

‘All Of Me’ is good to go right now and there’s vinyl in the pipeline too. We believe the 7” will pair ‘All Of Me’ with Gary’s last single, ‘Good People Good Vibes’. Our soul sleuths have discovered there could well be another Gary Beals single en route to us , ‘Self Revolution’ and there’s a talk of an album too.Learn more @ https://lrkrecords.bandcamp.com/
