Don’t know too much about the oddly named PATATA AND FREDDY KING save they hail from Sweden and they craft a music that though not soul or jazz, has elements of both! Next month they’re releasing their latest album, the equally enigmatically named ‘For Food And Beverages’ which they describe as “flavour enhancers for anyone looking for a good time.“
And yes their music does pressage good times with lots of diefferent flavours going on… swing, pop, a touch of smooth jazz, a nod to soul and, on ‘Know You So Well’, a kind of marching/military beat with an odd laid back vocal that makes for real intrigue.
