French/American soul/jazz guitar man U-NAM starts 2025 where he left off in 2024; that’s to say by releasing another single from his up-coming album, ‘From Paris to Texas’.
You may remember his last offering was his intriguing take on country legend Chet Atkins’ Some Leather and Lace’. The new single, ‘Swampy’ though is a U-Nam original but, again, it has a distinct country feel with bluesy and swamp rock undertows. Indeed it defies simple genre pigeon-holing – think maybe Stevie Ray Vaughan with a dash of James Brown and garnish of New Orleans jazz! Out now!
