Fans of quality dance music will know all about LOS CHARLY’S ORCHESTRA. For nearly ten years the band have been pumping out their very special brand of soulful disco and now – just in time for summer- they have a brand new single… the aptly-titled ‘Sunshine’.

The cut comes in four versions…. Vocal, Instrumental, Radio edit, plus a more experimental “Deep Disco Rework”. That last one is described as “Donald Byrd meets Blaxploitation” and you can hear where the PR person is coming from…. lovely, ethereal horn work!

The other mixes embody a real EWF vibe and are uplifting and joyous in the way that the best of EWF always was. Singer Andre Espeut channels a great Philip Bailey and I’m confident that Maurice White would approve!

LOS CHARLY’S ORCHESTRA’S ‘Sunshine’ is out on Imagenes Recordings on 4th June and for vinyl junkies there’ll be a limited Vinyl 10″ version too.
