Last year the UK’s SOULNATURALS won a legion of fans with their lovely ‘Rise Brother Rise’. The broody, psychedelic-tinged slab of dance floor action featured Zimbabwean-born singer CHANTELLE NANDI on backing vocals. Now CHANTELLE steps up to lead microphone for the new SOULNATURALS’ single – the cool, summer vibe – ‘Sunbeams’. The cut is an infectious, jazzy, sunshine groove. Decidedly contemporary, it nevertheless has that very fashionable retro hint about it and Ms NANDI is on fine form.
