Saturday 22nd June is the date when UK soulsters can celebrate Summer Soulstice 2019 at Gypsy Corner, Mays Lane, Barnet EN5 2AG. The big bash runs from 11am-11pm and features a galaxy of artists including Aswad, Alison Limerick, Andy Abraham, Louise Golbey, and Sa-Ha-Ra and it’s all hosted by Fat Freddie M and James Anthony and DJ’s Aitch B (Soul II Soul), Bigger, Ash Selector, Fitzroy and more.
As well as the Live action and dance tents, there’s licensed bars, cocktails, food outlets, merchandise stalls, a Free kids play zone, entertainers, gazebo/picnic area, limited camping & car parking. And to top it off you can jump a ride on their handy free Soul Bus shuttle to and from High Barnet tube station on the day.
Now in its 13th year, this annual fundraising event in aid of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and in memory of Andy Weekes, the Soulstice team are all about raising money with a great big smile as their provide the capital with one of June’s more intimate Festival highlights. Family friendly, safe and fun, Soulstice aims to give everyone who attends, a great day out!
