PARLOR GREENS is a highly touted new soul jazz trio made up of music biz veterans – guitarist Jimmy James, organ grinder Adam Scone and drummer Tim Carman. There’s a head of steam building up for their soon to be with us LP – ‘In Green We Dream’ (due mid July)
The “Greens” have just released the third single from set , following ‘West Memphis and the album title track. And like those two, ‘Sugar Maple’ delivers a no-nonsense take on the classic 60s Hammond-led soul-jazz genre. It’s a bit of a waltzer with a gritty undertow and it’s good to go via Colemine.
