If you tripped out to a proper New Year’s disco it’s odds on that you heard a quirky, dance anthem that mixed disco beats, Philly style strings, vocoders and a hypnotic ambience… tune in question is ‘Strings Of Love (Love Found Me Love)’ from veteran DJ and producer COLIN HUDD.
The track has just won official release on Chicago’s Music Plant label and though the mix of Donna Summer and Salsoul sounds odd at first, it actually works!
As you can imagine the tune comes in a number of mixes with the vocal tweak winning the current plaudits. And the vocalist? None other than Anna Maria Johnson who, you’ll remember, was lead singer on all the big Drizabone hits!
