Earlier this year we enjoyed a lovely ‘You Make Me Feel’ from soul maestro, MARC STAGGERS – gentle and mid-tempo with a catchy chorus, it, of course, had the flavour of dear old Luther at his peak. Little wonder it was a soul chart rider.
The tune enjoyed more legs in a special “Smooth Jazz” mix which featured sweet interplay between Marc’s lovely vocal and Brian Cunningham’s slinky, mellifluous sax work.
Now there’s a third mix of ‘You Make Me Feel’. This new one’s simply dubbed “Dance Mix” , so you sort of get the picture! If you like stats, we’re told that the tempo’s been cranked up by 20 per cent! Not too frantic though… still a great soul outing!
