Just last month the always-busy LUKAS SETTO entertained us with another new single, the feel good ‘Glowing Up’. It featured a booming bass line and insistent drum loops that were inspired by Mr. S’s love of 90s hip-hop further evidenced by some organic rapping courtesy of Las Vegas’ Julisa.
All the positivity that was in ‘Glowing Up’ is now further boosted as it hits us in a new BRIAN POWER remix. It goes without saying that the 90s hip-hop is eschewed as BP sprinkles plenty of his classic soulful house glitter all over the track. The sweet melody and Lukas’ convincing soul vocal are all retained while snatches of Julisa’s rapping are scattered hither and thither in a really clever way! Great stuff.
The original Brian Power SoulHouse mix clocks in at six minutes; for the faint hearted, there’s the usual radio edit! And the good news is that Brian and Lukas are working together on an EP set for release on SoulHouse in May.
