SOULUTIONS’ ‘I Got To Party’ has been one summer 2016’s BIG tunes! And rightly so… it delivered all the promise that the Newcastle band showed on their early work (‘Listen’ and ‘Philly Line’) and it filled floors everywhere. It was also given pride of place on Expansion’s 2016 ‘Soul Togetherness’ compilation… a proper soul accolade, if you would.
The song’s original mix was always the winner but the recent Blazing Encore mix won it plenty of extra spins and now – coming October 21st – is a third mix. This new one comes courtesy of mix meister John Morales who, rightly, doesn’t take too may liberties. Why would he? He simply tightens up the beats and extends the groove to a mighty, satisfying nine minutes plus! Great stuff!
