With no fanfare and little publicity, STEVIE WONDER has just released a new single – ‘Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart’. It’s a simple, gentle, insinuating song and the message is obvious from the title. Yes, it’s a plea fro unity and tolerance. Obviously, Stevie’s thinking of the issues plaguing the States right now – divisions throw into a stark light by the bitterness of the Presidential Election campaign but the sentiments, of course, are relevant everywhere – especially here in the UK given the polarization that exists and the recent rioting.
