Earlier this year Brooklyn based muso AHMED SIROUR (like many others) was rightly impressed by the lovely ‘All The Stars’ by Kendrick Lamar & SZA. He was even more impressed by the string arrangement that the Re-Collective Orchestra mix offered. However, he felt it could be even better… so he set to work.
The ever innovative Mr S added some more percussion, some classy fender Rhodes keyboard parts, and sharpened up the orchestra. Then (in his words) he balanced, EQ’d and mastered it “properly” and the result is a lovely, new, summer light imagining. However it seems Ahmed had a few problems with the powers that be getting his tweak out there…. but a diligent and patient search will lead you to it
