Not too much good news around right now but here’s something that might just cheer you up. The incomparable WILL DOWNING has a new album all set for release on January 29th . Released on his own Sophisticated Soul label, the LP is ‘A Song Garden’.
Last year we enjoyed two of the set’s songs…. ‘Right Where You Are’ and ‘So Many Good Die Young’ but right now the new focus single is the delightful ‘Stand Up’ . It’s a lovely, steady mid-tempo item with a killer chorus … vintage Will Downing in every way and it underlines once again his status as “The Prince of Sophisticated Soul”.
